Park Festival

Ciutadella Park, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June

Tens of exhibitors and thousands of people will visit Ciutadella Park this year to enjoy the Science, Technology and Innovation Festival. This great event is a meeting place for researchers and the community and it highlights the importance of research as a force for change and development in Catalonia.

This festival will undoubtedly be the source of new vocations; it is bursting with surprising activities and passionate scientists who’ll explain their work. Above all, the festival is an opportunity to encourage citizen participation. Prepare yourselves, then, to turn Ciutadella Park into a great laboratory where you can explore science, technology and innovation like never before.

Dani Jiménez Albiac

A physicist and scientist specialised in using experiments to encourage scientific learning, Dani Jiménez has worked for the Catalan national television station TV3, the Spanish national channel TVE, Catalunya Ràdio and the CosmoCaixa science museum. He is currently director of CreaCiència, a creative company that focuses on science. He also hosts over 100 science shows a year and he presents and creates content for the children’s TV programme Dinàmiks on Canal Super3. He works with Radio 4 and writes the “MuyLab” column for the magazine Muy Interesante. He is author of three books with sales of over 20,000 copies and he collects bank notes with portraits of scientists... there are lots of them!
